We’re delighted to announce, in collaboration with Amy Spalding (@thatames) and One More Chapter (@onemorechapterhc), our Afterlight Exclusive: Out in Hollywood set! We featured book one (For Her Consideration) last year in our Afterlight monthly subscription, and we’re delighted to be doing editions of standalone books two & three in this series.

Our Afterlight Exclusive: Out in Hollywood set features B-format hardbacks and includes:

  • Exclusive covers (from the publisher)
  • Foil embossing on the hardbacks (from the publisher)
  • Digitally printed fore-edges (from the publisher); block-sprayed top & bottom edges
  • Artwork endpapers (from the publisher)
  • Signed by the author

About the Author

Amy Spalding is the author of several novels, including the bestselling For Her Consideration, We Used to Be Friends and The Summer of Jordi Perez (and the Best Burger in Los Angeles), which was named a best book of 2018 by NPR, the Boston Globe, Kirkus Reviews, and more. She is a recipient of the 2023 Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award for the authentic, funny, and diverse representation of the LGBTQ+ community in her books.

  • Do you ship to my country and how much is it?

    Yes, we can ship to almost every country! There are a few exceptions, currently, we cannot ship to: Belarus, the Canary Islands, China, El Salvador, Guadalupe, Haiti, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine. This is because our shipping company is unable to deliver in these countries, sorry!

    You can see a full list of shipping rates for our products here. These shipping costs do NOT include customs and other taxes that may be due within your country. All customs and other taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

    If you are based in the EU, VAT is included in your order. You can see our EU VAT rates here.

    If you are based in Australia, a 10% sales tax will be added to your order at checkout. 

    If you are based in the US and Canada, your monthly Illumicrate and Afterlight subscription ships from our US warehouse. You can see a list of those shipping rates here.

  • How do I change my address for an order I’ve paid for?

    Please fill out our Customer Support form and we can do that for you! If you change your address in your account, this will not carry over to any orders you have paid for, only future orders.

    Once your box has shipped we cannot change your address and you may be charged additional shipping to have it sent to your correct address.

  • I've changed my mind, can I have a refund?

    If you have ordered a subscription product (a box or book) and this is not yet in pre-shipment (we have not yet sent out the emails check your address), then we can usually cancel and refund this for you. We do not issue refunds if you have a 3 or 6 month pre-paid subscription.

    If you have ordered a single purchase item or something from our shop, as long as your order hasn't yet gone into pre-shipment we can usually refund it for you. To cancel your order,  please fill in our Customer Support Form or contact us directly at support@illumicrate.com.
