Our featured book this month is a debut YA dark academia standalone! A Deaf student accepted into a prestigious and unusual university programme clashes with another student, who remembers her from the day he died but has been ordered to stay away from her. After an incident on campus, the two are forced to work together to uncover the secrets of the university. As they grow closer to each other and to uncovering the truth, they learn there’s something truly sinister lurking behind their ability to open doors to other realms, and maybe the cost of doing so is higher than anyone wants to pay.
We’re obsessed with the academic rivals to lovers in a forbidden romance dynamic, the incredibly atmospheric and creepy vibes of the story, and the inventive magic system.
