We have an update to share on our Illumicrate Exclusive: Furyborn set. After announcing the set, it was brought to our attention that some of the stock images used for the covers were generated with AI. Both Illumicrate and Sourcebooks are firmly against using AI-generated artwork for our products.
We have an update to share on our Illumicrate Exclusive: Furyborn set. After announcing the set, it was brought to our attention that some of the stock images used for the covers were generated with AI. Both Illumicrate and Sourcebooks are firmly against using AI-generated artwork for our products.
After discussing with the author, we have all agreed that our commitment to creatives is at the forefront of our missions and therefore we cannot move forward with these covers in their current iterations.
We are in conversations about what the best way forward is, and we hope to have a further, more conclusive update for you in the coming weeks.
